If the sound stopped or something looks broken, export diagnostics before you reload. The steps are below.
01
Include a diagnostics export
A local log, read by your own hand. Nothing here sends itself.
Export it before you reload or close Vartra. The log is kept in memory and clears when the app closes.
- 1
Open Settings
Tap or click Settings, the button with three lines at the top right of the Calm screen.
- 2
Find Diagnostics
Scroll to Diagnostics, below Data. Choose Export diagnostics, not Export data. The log appears in full, as text you can read.
- 3
Copy it into your email
Select all of the text, copy it, and paste it into your message.
What an export holds
Each entry is an event code, a level and a time since app start, never the time of day. Some entries add one number, or a short word or id, never free text.
02
What Vartra does
Vartra plays three things you can switch on and off, alone or together.
Scene
The room and its weather.
Tone
Headphones on. Quiet by default.
Breath
A circle and a soft sound guide.
If you don't buy, Vartra keeps working: the breath guide and one preset stay free forever.
Nothing is on sale yet. The demo at /try has the breath guide and Evening, the free preset, with nothing locked.
03
Privacy, in brief
Nothing you set or make in Vartra leaves this device. It loads only its own files, from its own address, and contacts no other server. Its build fails if the code names a server outside a short, reviewed list.
The playable demo at /try carries no counting of any kind.
